Welcome to Havelock

Registration Open for Vacation Bible School!

Join us for a one-day campout as we find out how to learn more about Jesus! Kids 3 years old through those completing sixth grade are invited to our one-day Vacation Bible School. Our theme this year is “Camp Out: Getting S’more of Jesus.” Havelock UMC will be transformed into a big camping area while our young campers get the chance to be transformed by the Holy Spirit while having fun!

Havelock exterior

We at Havelock United Methodist Church have been proud to serve our northeast Lincoln, Nebraska, neighborhood for 126 years. Much has changed about our community since the first church structure was consecrated in 1890, but our resolve to be the hands and feet of Christ in today’s world has not wavered. We sum up our mission as three important points:

  • Love God
  • Love our neighbors
  • Make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

From Pastor Amy

Havelock - Amy
“We are a community of faith where people can seek answers to their questions about God as we strive to be his disciples. All are welcome here! We invite you to join us for worship or any of the many activities and ministries that take place here as we continue to be the hands and feet of Christ in this area and beyond.

In His Love,
Rev. Amy Seifert
