Graduation

May brings May baskets, Mother's Day. It also signals the end of high school and college. Congratulations to those seniors graduating this May/June.

Flowers

The following dates are still open on the flower calendar: June 6, July 11, and September 26.

This is a nice way to honor a loved one, someone's birthday, or anniversary, or in remembrance of someone who is deceased.

Our Deepest Sympathy

The congratulation extends its Christian love and sincere sympathy to the family of Lois Warboys. Lois passed away on May 3rd. Her funeral service was held on May 6th.

Reading Program

You still have several precious weeks to complete the 2009-2010 Reading Program. The names of participants, and the plan they completed needs to be turned in by June 17th. Participants who have completed the Reading Program will be recognized at the UMW Blue River District Annual meeting in September. Please call Pati Hughes, 440-7512 with the above information.

Diaper Depot

A collection box will be set out Sunday, June 6th in the Narthex. We are in need of diapers, wipes and Desitin ointment. Also, monetary donations will be accepted and put to use to support this worth while cause.

Thank you for your recent donation of $142 and many sacks of food. We appreciate your continued support of the Food Pantry. Last year we provided emergency food assistance to 392 families in our community. Thats nearly 1,000 people (with over ½ of them children).
